INTRODUCTION

In order to better divulge information amongst those of us who practice in this gym, the Administrative Team is attempting new forms of communication if you are a currently or ever have ever been a member. To ensure that you are able to get a better view of what is happening, different events that they may have coming up, or even time changes, they wanted to create this newsletter so that you will be in the know and so that we may grow as a much tighter knit community. I (Fabian Castrillon) will be doing these approximately once a month so if you have an event upcoming or anything of importance, please make sure to speak to Anthony Falotico so that we can sort out any issues or get any announcements out to the rest of the group. WE TAKE THE STAGE! (WORLD NO GI) 12/13- 12/15

On 12/13 our competitive fighters stood upon the world stage to fight for the right to be considered one of the world’s strongest. After a grueling sequence of matches we would come home with multiple medals to hang with honor. (New) Brown belt Joel Carrasquillo and Brown belt Raphael Saraiva would be coming home with the bronze. Purple belt Livia dos Santos would be bringing home the silver medal. Purple belt Anthony Falotico, Purple belt Darrin Shapiro of the Winter Park Location and Black belt Talita Alancar would be bringing home the gold. It is with great honor that we thank these fighters for pushing themselves beyond their limits and prove that our gym holds prestige, intensity, and integrity.
